Fashion Show Fundraiser- Boston Event Photography

I have been photographing like mad all over the North Shore of Boston these past months; lifestyle magazines, events, families, actresses, models, but nothing seems quite as important as raising money for a great cause.   I was thrilled to be photographing the event of the year…truly the Boston event of the year! Aine’s Fashion Show is the largest and the most stunning it has ever been!

The The David K. Johnson Foundation’s (or DKJ Foundation for short) goal is to  to raise money and awareness to cure Alzheimer’s and support families affected by the disease by providing resources and guidance throughout their journey. Bruce and Greg Johnson’s passion for the cause is infectious!

The owner of Aine’s, Julie Centrella, or as I like to call her the “mayor of Reading” is a wonder of power and imagination.  She creates a story through fashion, and her bubbly friendly personality draws clients and friends with a fierce loyalty only she could create.

Jen Cote is on team DKJ Foundation and she is the force behind their fundraising efforts.  Julie and Jen are really the dynamic duo and the latest collaboration was

absolutely amazing.  They transformed Austin Prep into an event that NY fashion week would find perfect.  Jen’s savvy had businesses large and small in Reading and  surrounding towns of Wakefield, Wilmington, Woburn, Burlington, North Reading  donating raffle items that all would be “ticket fighting” over!

I took many many photos and my trusty assistants Sam and Rachel helped me to be in 10 different places at once!  I have included just a fraction of the photos to give you a taste for the event,

but all photos can be found at:

You can purchase and download photos or order prints and 20% of the proceeds go to the DSK Foundation!  How great is that.  The fundraising still moves on!
